11am – 2pm: Come and Grow See *new* Incredible Edible Community Food Garden in the heart of the city centre. Grow something, pick something, learn about growing your own, or just drop by to see the garden and find out more. Civic Centre St Peter’s St, St Albans AL1 3JE

2-4pm: FoodSmiles St Albans Open Day. Come along for a free tour of this organic community growing farm in Harpenden. Tea and vegetable cakes provided. Hammonds End Farm, Redbourn Lane, Harpenden AL5 2AY
3-5pm: Food for Thought: Transition St Albans present an informal afternoon of cake and conversation about the impact of food on the environment – with guest speakers (i) Ruby Raut: food waste (ii) Mary Barton: Vegan eating: (iii) tbc. The Courtyard Cafe, 11 Hatfield Road, St Albans, AL1 3RR
