Volunteers needed to cut waste this Sunday

Are you concerned about waste – do you go red when you see rubbish chucked on the street when it could be recycled?

Help reduce waste in St Albans – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for an hour or two at St Albans Street Festival this Sunday 19th June – Can you help?

Transition St Albans volunteers will help 10,000 people to cut waste at the Street Festival on Sunday 19th June. – but we need more people – Can you help out for an hour on the day?

You will be encouraging people to recycle waste at recycling points along the street. You will be volunteering with other people who care about reducing waste. It’s a great way to see the festival and contribute to your local community at the same time!

The Street Festival on Sunday 19 June is part of Alban Weekend – there will be over 40 food stalls, Shakespeare, a Family Tent, crafts stalls, music stage and much more! See more about the Street Festival click here
