It is somehow immensely satisfying to see our efforts in print! This Herts Advertiser article on Sustainable St Albans Week is a good all round story.
However the main thanks of the day go to the 1800 school children who worked hard across local schools to write their messages. One teacher said: Almost all the postcards written by our children were extremely passionate and they really understood the importance of what they were trying to do.
Included in the feedback to Sustainable St Albans was this gem about Postcards to Paris in the classroom: One teacher had the best lesson she has had with a year 5 class who were so engaged and passionate she had to force them to eventually move onto something else as they could have kept going all day!

Sustainable St Albans 2015 was a collaboration between Transition St Albans and St Albans Friends of the Earth, with support from St Albans District Council. We are grateful to the Big Lottery for core funding, our local community for their help with Crowdfunding, and to our district councillors who helped to fund the week.
