Chasing Ice, the hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate.

Traveling with a team of young adventurers across the brutal Arctic, Chasing Ice depicts a heroic photojournalist on a mission to deliver fragile hope to our carbon-powered planet.

The film is being screened by Riverside Streets Community Film Club www.riversidestreets.wordpress.com    The film club arose from one of the Transition Streets groups in St Albans.

The venue is the St Albans Sub-Aqua Club, Cottonmill Swimming Pool, Cottonmill Lane, AL1 1HJ which has a licensed bar and requests booking in advance. The screening is in the large meeting room with cafe-style tables  (there are a limited number of seats available) and access to the bar before and after the film.
